i relate to this so much oh my goddd, especially the quote about becoming the angry man. i feel that we will never be able to escape our parents or environments-seeing as they are what truly shape us-but sometimes its helpful (for me at least) to remember that when we are consistently exposed to something its easier to see in others. that being said, everyone has anger so remember not to be too hard on yourself <3

i found it interesting how you brought up both your mother and father in this.

it’s usually one or the other, and as someone with complicated feelings with both my folks, i found i related much more with this piece.

here’s to trying to heal,, even when it gets frustrating and we start seeing the angry man in the mirror (>人<;)

same twin, I lived in the house where my father is an angry man. I've promised myself ill never be like him, but at some point I noticed myself becoming the person I hate, at some instance for the small things I says things I don't want to hear. I've realized I can't escaped this environment or I will leave this environment. It's either this will change me or I will change or leave them.
